Located in Bulacan province in the Philippines, Meycauayan, also known as the City of Meycauayan, is a first-class component city. The Meycauayan Church, also called Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church, is a Roman Catholic church situated in Meycauayan, Philippines. It is among Bulacan's oldest parishes. Barangay Liputan hosts the Liputan Barrio Fiesta on the second Sunday of May each year. Following a nine-day novena, the celebration concludes with a vibrant river parade honoring the "Mahal na Señor," a Christ-crucified picture that is revered on the island of Liputan.
