Ride-Hailing in Kawit
In the Philippine province of Cavite, Kawit—officially known as the Municipality of Kawit—is a first-class municipality. Every Christmas Eve, there is a dramatic retelling of the story of the Virgin Mary and Joseph searching Bethlehem for a place to stay called "Panunuluyan" called Maytinis Festival. This recreation takes place in the streets of Kawit, with many floats representing various biblical scenes, ranging from Mary and Joseph to Adam and Eve. Sung in multiple residences, the "Panunuluyan" culminates at the 400-year-old St. Mary Magdalene Church, where angels greet Mary and Joseph in a massive belen (Nativity Scene) that fills the whole main altarpiece or Retablo of the church.
